Presentations

One of our primary goals is to help people understand, recognize, and respond to modern-day slavery. We have a series of presentations and seminars we can bring to community organizations, faith-based organizations, and educational institutions. These events can range from one hour, or an evening, to a full weekend seminar. The topics we discuss include:

• The magnitude and sources of the problem of slavery today (and we make it personal);
• Effective models and approaches being used to fight human trafficking;
• Tremendous successes that have been achieved in transforming broken Justice Systems within entire nations;
• How well-intentioned people and organizations often hurt the very people they try to help, sometimes on a massive scale;
• What Pennsylvania and the U.S. government have done to address human trafficking;
• What kinds of practical and creative actions people can take, large and small, to help fight modern-day slavery and contribute to the healing of survivors.

Our primary speaker holds a degree in educational psychology from Princeton University, and has served for several years as a volunteer Justice Advocate with International Justice Mission, the largest anti-trafficking agency in the world.
